Coldplay Poster Exclusive Live and Uncut 20 By 30

This poster is 20 inches by 30 inches approximately and is in mint condition

As with any competition Kimmie is involved in, I usually don't watch until after I've read about the results; or I can fast forward my "Tivo" to the scores to see her standings. Then I decide how to watch that particular event. But this competition was unusual, I had no choice but to endure the anticipation of being in the crowd; part of it. However, it was still too nerve wrecking to watch.

Kimmie was the last to skate. Once she had performed, she sat patiently awaiting her scores. However, her body language spelled anticipation; meanwhile, the commentators, while the viewers and the audience were on an edge, felt compelled to comment on Kimmie's past performances, from the good ones to her recent "disasters." Soon everyone stood, wondering what was taking so long; I heard some people say that they were tabulating the scores, while others said they were counting her jumps. This part alone should have told me something was strange because this is not the norm.

A reporter came to the crowd speaking on behalf of Kimmie, proudly saying how he knew she had it in her, when another one of Kimmie's fans pulled out a recent article written by this fellow discrediting Kimmie. Anticipation had kept me from watching Kimmie's actual performance. It meant too much. However, my gut reaction was that she had won! I started to dance around, some people chanted with me, others clapped. While some glared. The scores had not come out yet. However, there was this feeling in me that she had won! After all she is a winner!

Soon after the party had simmered down, there was a disquiet in the large arena; Kimmie was being interviewed. She had regained her "World Title." It was exhilarating.

Hector proposes to Maribel and she accepts. Customer Review: The edition is good, but the music is so boring.
The soap opera Rubi started so good, it was so quickly that in every episode you can see something exciting, unfortunately, with the huge succes of the soap opera Televisa ordered more episodes and there's when we had the problem, When we start to see the beginning of the end: the illness of Hector (then alejandro operates him but because of Rubi he let him die accidentaly). Instead of that, magically Hector gets healed, he gets a lover (Yadhira Carrillo), Rubi meet the Count (Manuel Landeta) and Alejandro have a lot of trouble in the hospital because of some fraudulent things. That part of the story is not as cool as the first episodes, they cut A LOT of secondary characters that actually their story wasn't interesting. That's why i think is a very good edition.... EXCEPT: For the music, the main theme (La descarada) was so goood, this new one is pathetic, and the score was also incredible, but especially the song from the dramatic moments. (In the special episode you can hear it in some of the dramatic moments, for example Sonia's death, when Rubi runs to the beach with her wedding dress, when Maribel watch Rubi at the airport with Hector, etc, etc. Instead of that good song they use a very boring theme, it doesn't transmitt the same emotion and tension. Hope we can see a new version of the dvd but with the real music and with more scenes and extras. By the way the extras are very cool, the finale of the original series in black and white, the special of rubi's niece, the press conference of Rubi, the only missed the original trailers (THEY'RE SO COOL, check them out on youtube)
Customer Review: rubi 2
i'm wondering if they ever going to do part 2 where her neice is twice as free spirited and dangerous lol

While Wolfgang Mozart showed an amazing aptitude for music very early in life, he also displayed an absolute affinity for women. His charm was alluring, earning him the title, "The Most Kissed Boy in Europe."

Unfortunately, his adorable charm began to fade when, at age seven, he proposed to the future queen of France, Marie Antoinette, and was rejected. Things got worse when his girlfriend and the love of his life forgot him after his absence during a musical tour of Europe. She didn't even recognize him when he entered the room. Ouch.

Imagine, were he alive today, young Mozart could have tried courting 21st Century-style with a date at the movies. This teen was the type of courter who, eager to scoop a handful of bosom in the dark theatre, would employ the "stretch and clutch" maneuver.

This is a smooth and delicate movement where the suave pubescent pretends his arms need a stretch. After slowly lifting his limb closest to his target, he reaches around to her furthest shoulder and casually rests his hand there. Little by little he begins to feel the overwhelming force of earth's gravity as his hand creeps down.

This tactic sometimes backfires, leaving a buttery hand print across the attacker's doleful face and an angry phone call from the girl's father. In the event his device failed, he would have simply pursued her sister. It worked for him back in the 1700's!

Well, sort of.

His wife, the sister of the first "forgetful" girl, was described by him as "not ugly, but in no means a beauty." He went on to write, "She is not witty but has enough sound common sense to enable her to fulfill her duties as a wife and mother." Again, ouch!

Enough of Wolfgang. One fellow who never had any romantic charm to begin with was Franz Schubert, nicknamed "Little Mushroom" for his chubby stature, little round glasses, and shy, geeky nature. A crummy catch for most girls , he was a poor composer who couldn't even afford his own piano and composed his piano works on a cheap guitar.

At one point he thought the best way to woo a potential sweetheart was to write her a love song. Unfortunately, he couldn't sing to save his life ever since his voice broke at age 16. He devised a scheme where his friend, Schober, a handsome tenor, sang the tune to the girl with Schubert's piano accompaniment. Much to the mushroom's dismay, when the song was finished, the girl embraced Schober!

If only he were born in the mid-1900's, Schubert would have been much more successful in catching girls with his music. All he would have to do was holler out the song himself, strum a few chords on his Fender and gaze at her through his groovy, John Lennon-style glasses. The guy would have been a babe magnet, and I'd still love his music, be it changed.

Peter Tchaikovsky had disastrous relationships. His first marriage lasted only 9 weeks, which resulted in him trying to kill himself. Other affairs didn't get much better. He finally met a wealthy 46-year-old widow, but their relationship never went past writing letters for 14 years. They met once by pure accident and were so embarrassed that they ran in opposite directions.

Peter would have done very well had he the chance to date on the Internet. Thousands of on-line dating and matchmaker services offer a highly selective process in which the seekers specify the personality, physical appearance , income bracket and other details of themselves and their potential mates. Peter was a handsome lawyer who dressed very well and had expensive taste. This successful and famous musician was also sensitive guy who wasn't afraid to cry. This hunk would have cleaned house on www.composerdate.com.

Even if he chose to continue his relationship with the widow on-line, it would've saved him oodles in postage stamps and would have been much quicker than mail delivery in 1880's Russia. Maybe he could've gone a step further and picked up the phone, or even hopped on a plane to take a visit! It's these modern-day miracles in technology that could have bridged an awkward gap in poor Tchaikovsky's love life.

As I write this I think of what my love life would have been like if I lived in the time of the great composers. Chances are, I would've married for money, or worse, against my will, and life as a woman would have meant serving my husband and fifteen-plus children. At least my corset would've had me too breathless to complain...

Even though life seems to be more complicated in the 21st Century than ever before, I'm blessed to have a relatively simple life with endless opportunities and to have found love. It's not romantic, but it's simple, it's real and it's mine.

Quartier Latin 11"x17" Poster

This 11"x17" poster is from "Quartier Latin" (1939)

Everyones biggest problem with Writing Task is finishing both tasks on time. What no one tells you is that if you dont finish either one, you lost a whole band point. This never has to happen to you!

The key to making sure that you report and essay qualify as finished is that they have a clear Conclusion paragraph. That paragraph can be one sentence long, if necessary. And the best news of all is, you have already written that sentence!

At the end of the Introduction (paragraph 1) of the Writing Task 1 report, you have written a summary of the information. In the same position at the end of the first paragraph in Writing Task 2, you have written your Thesis Statement. Simply be repeating both of those sentences at the beginning of a Conclusion paragraph, you have made your writing qualify as finished even if there is more you wanted to write. And you dont lose a whole band point needlessly.

Heres what you do:

1)Make sure you do write a good summary in Writing Task 1 and a good Thesis Statement in Writing Task 2. (Your report and essay wont work without them anyway.)

2)Watch your watch! No one is going to keep you on track as far as elapsed time is concerned. Its up to you to monitor your own progress.

3)In Writing Task 1, if 18 minutes have passed and youre still writing Body Paragraph sentences, finish the sentence youre writing, quickly. Then, start a new paragraph (and make sure it looks like a new paragraph), and begin it with the words, In conclusion, Then rewrite the summary. If you can, change a word or two (but not the meaning). If not, just write it exactly the way you did at the end of the Introduction.

4)In Writing Task 2, if 38 minutes have passed and youre still writing Body Paragraph sentences, finish the sentence youre writing, quickly. Then, start a new paragraph (and make sure it looks like a new paragraph), and begin it with the words, In conclusion, Then rewrite the Thesis Statement. (This needs to be done in any case. It is an essential part of the essay.)

5)Ideally, in Writing Task 2, you should write the Restatement in reverse order of the Thesis Statement. For example, if it is an opinion essay, and you wrote your opinion and three reasons in the Thesis Statement, write the three reasons first, and then the opinion, in the Restatement. Again, if you have time and can, change a word or two (but not the meaning). If not, just write it exactly the way you did at the end of the Introduction.

6)Make sure you finish these In conclusion, sentences on time. The task ends at exactly 60 minutes.

Obviously, this will not save you any lost points if all you have is a few sentences and your essay is far too short in the first place. But if you have written most of the essay, and followed the format, its essential that you not lost a whole band point just because it isnt finished. So make it look finished!

A Taste of Salsa, Volume II (Spanish & English Language)

In Volume II, Lisa and Andres build on the steps and lead/follow techniques that were introduced in Volume I. In addition, they show you more advanced turning combinations and new ways of moving across the dance floor. They also pinpoint suggestions for developing your own style. In addition, equal attention is paid to both the leads and follows so that you become a dynamic couple and a solid individual dancer. With these new patterns, your passion for Salsa and your confidence on the dance floor will continue to grow.

In this volume, the following steps are covered:
Basic three turn combination
Hand over heart turning combination
Hand over shoulder turning combination
The wrap
Adding style to your dancing
The walk
Putting it all together

With a bit of practice, you will soon become a Salsero.

Instruction for all volumes in the A Taste of Salsa series is given in both English and Spanish.
Customer Review: Great basics
If you are a novice and looking to learn in a correct and structured way, these videos (Vol I & II) are very sound and easy to understand. The videos are introductory, so if you already know the basics, perhaps they are not for you. Don't pay attention to the criticism of those who weren't smart enough to read the description and look for more information about the videos from the internet or the instructors' website. The videos are clearly labeled basic. That's why they are titled "A Taste of...." I gave it four stars because even though the intent to make the tapes universal by making them bilingual is good, it does tend to slow the lessons a bit. Why not use subtitles for the alternate language?
Customer Review: Salsa Instruction Starts Here
For those who wish to learn salsa through videos, this is the one for you. True, there are excellent intructional videos in the market; but without a strong basics, all those fancy moves shown in more advanced videos will not work for you. The dance instructors give you enough tips and alert you of common pitfalls so you can start dancing with proper form and style.

Belly dancing music is influenced by Turkish and Classic Egyptian (mere examples here, I could chose Ghawazee, Modern Egyptian, Tunisian, etc) are primarily defined by the music and its interpretation, as well as culture-based costuming. The base movements are the same, the underlying beats of the music are often Middle Eastern (and other traditional non-Western compositions), and the music influences the attitude of the movements and also the type of clothes worn.

Turkish, Greek, Moroccan, even some Bollywood music can be great for belly dance. If you are going to perform to music that does not come from the belly dance music of the Arabic world, do some research first so you create a respectable composition instead of an ignorant mish-mash.

Women created the dance to perform for one another, not to perform for men. Women engaged in what appears to resemble the modern belly dance appear in Egyptian tomb paintings from 5,000 B.C. and in ancient Greek and Indian sculpture. Ritual dances of high priestesses of many ancient civilizations were probably some form of belly dance.

The music that accompanies a dance is, I believe, is what gives it that mysterious, compelling quality. Belly dancing music is exciting, rhythmical and intriguing. Turkish Dance costumes are among the more risqu of the cabaret styles, baring plenty of leg and cleavage. They are usually beaded, but may use coins too. Turkish dancers are often very scantily clad, but that's not a requirement of the style.

Egyptian style movements are very precise, with the hips held under the rib cage. Turkish style often leans the upper torso back, pushing the pelvis forward. Egyptian dance businesses flourished to meet the enjoyment of the western woman's love of this dance. Egyptian is more artistic than Turkish, it has lot more movements and more difficult system while the Arabian belly dance music is more complex and interesting than the Turkish one. A short Turkish performance might be thrilling, but I could never watch Turkish style belly dancing for hours.

Trouble

The Fourth Single to Be Released from Coldplay's Double Platinum Album 'parachutes'.
Customer Review: fraction of Parachutes
I thought this was the best Coldplay cd I could get in terms of sound and price. I don't really know how to review or rate it since my love for Coldplay blossomed a while ago, in 1999, when "Parachutes" came out. In my decision to purchase any Coldplay music, two requirements had to be fulfilled, preferably using the least money possible. 1. The cd had to either have "Shiver," "Don't Panic," or "Trouble," my favorite old Coldplay songs, on it. 2. The cd had to have "Brothers and Sisters" on it. And this was the cd to get. The version of "Shiver" isn't live but acoustic. The version of "Brothers and Sisters" isn't the exact one I was looking for, but it's still good. I think that one is toned down a bit more (acoustic) as well. In short, this single is a little part of "Parachutes", containing some of its best songs and an extra. But if you've never been exposed to Coldplay, go buy "Parachutes" instead and don't bother with singles until you've owned all their albums and major EPs.
Customer Review: The Under Dog of Lost Reviews
Any way this artical is about whats going on with the lack of coldplay music. Take my friends brother he hasn't even heard of the band Coldplay. I'm not the kind of person who just goes on about how great the band is, in fact it's not even my favorite band or song I'm just saying that it's time they were reconized for what they have done with there music. Their music videos are like nothing I've seen for a long time. so if your not sure if you want to buy this cd go to the music downloads and listen you might be suprized. Yours Truly, ixBrel rteeP

Salsa is a form of social get together of the people which celebrates dance, music and culture. It is considered to be a faction of Latin rhythmic types which contains the clave beats. Mambo, Son, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Guaracha, Merengue, Songo, Timba and few others are some of the most recognized form of salsa. Salsa is the only among Latin genres to have come back and inclined West African tune.

Salsa has become gaining more and more recognition now. A lot of institutions have been opened to teach this form of dance. In fact, few marriages in NYC demands a salsa dance by the newly wedded couple. Many events are organized every year to host salsa in New York. The salsa festival is generally organized in the spirit of friendship and fun and the affection of dancing. In order to make the salsa festival a grand one, you should always look for a perfect venue to host the event. Some of the superb venues for salsa of tango event in New York are:

The Burgess Hall: It is the premier venue in Cambridgeshire. It has a sufficient free car parking area and is completely air-conditioned. It has a great semi-spung dance floor and other facilities.

Rush: 579 6th Avenue, New York City. It is a huge event ground that organizes brilliant events like salsa and tango. The entry fee is kept low.

Columbus 72: 246 Columbus Avenue in NYC. This venue is very famous and is among the best place to host a salsa or tango night. The place is completely air-conditioned. It offers brilliant services and facilities to the organizers and to the people.

Plumm: This venue was basically made to host salsa events. It has huge dancing floor with live music and great DJs.

A lot of fantastic salsa event venues have come up in last few years. Some of them are LQs, Gonzalez y Gonzalez, Club Iguana, The Red Lounge, Vudu Lounge and SOB's.

Salsa is a very beautiful form of dance. The slow motion dance touches your soul when you see others performing. The feeling you get is, excellent!

Mario Stewart has a passion to write about New York City and the bars, restaurants and salsa in the city. He is internationally popular for providing the most apt reviews about the salsa in New York City You may visit one of his websites about salsa in NYC to find more details.

Ultimate Santana

2008 reissue housed in a deluxe cardboard slipcase. This single disc anthology brings the legendary guitarist's best recordings of his Arista Records era together with his greatest classics from the Columbia Records years on a single compact disc. Among the 18 tracks are the chart toppers 'Smooth', 'Maria Maria', 'Black Magic Woman', 'The Game Of Love' (with both Michelle Branch and Tina Turner), 'Oye Como Va' and many more. Sony/BMG.
Customer Review: big mistake
YUK! I just recently started downloading mp3s and really screwed up when I bought this thinking it would be the Carlos Santana music I knew in the 60s. What else would "Ulitmate Santana" mean? Instead most of the album is just Santana accompanying some bozo singing stupid disco type songs. My bad. Remember, when it says "featuring so-and-so" it usually means you better like so-and-so and not care too much about who the titled performer is.
Customer Review: Great songs, but...
Carlos Santana has very few bad albums, or even bad songs. (Stay away from his collaboration with John McLaughlin though.) If you're looking for a one-disk compilation and are familiar with his later songs plus his late 60's hits, the songs here will be familiar. But... try Caravanserai, Borboletta, or some of his other unbelievable albums from "in between". If this is all you know of Carlos Santana, you have a lot to discover! What you hear on this disk is just an introduction. I give this review 4 stars rather than 5 not because there are bad songs on this CD (there aren't), but because you, as a Santana listener, deserve more.

Before you use one of those free music download programs you may want to compare them with the legal file-sharing programs to help you make a decision. There are many free music download software programs available to download free music online. It seems like there are new "Ares download, free music download web sites" entering the Web everyday.
Getting a free KaZaA music download is all I here my students talk about in class. Asking each other where to download free music or download and burn free music. They talk about sites to find Inuyasha music downloads, Final Fantasy music downloads, even cell phone music downloads. Are free music download programs...FREE?It all depends on what you want. Basically, the difference between free file-sharing programs and file-sharing programs that you pay for is as follows. With the pay programs such as Mp3 Advance, MP3 Music Subscription and DownloadShield, you get technical support, no pop ups, no adware or spyware, most offer privacy protection, and your money back if you're not happy with the program. With the totally free music download programs, unless you buy their Pro version, which some of them are more expensive than the pay programs mentioned above, you're pretty much on your own along with the ads and pop ups and don't forget the spyware.
